[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

None of the others manifested anything.

[But maybe he just wasn't in the right places when his flashes happened. But also: what others.]

The... Th-the flashes. Like. [God, he has to actually put this to words, doesn't he.] I guess... Something akin to what would be described as a post-traumatic flashback? Like what happened at the merry-go-round before, or at the table downstairs.

And you've had more of them? More than what I've seen?

[Jonah stares down at his bowl, now just... swirling the spoon around.]

How - how frequent are they?

It varies? Sometimes I don't see anything for a week or two... And sometimes I see something a few days apart.

[He instinctively wants to tell him not to worry. That he'd fine, he's been dealing with it. But if it happens again in a place of some other fear's power, who's to say what happened in the Lonely couldn't happen again?]

[If only because he knows how he is when it happens. The thought of being able to talk or contact him consciously is... So far from his mind in those moments.]

[Some small lonely part of him is still waiting for Algric to leave. To turn him away, all those months working for Peter still hounding his thoughts. Instead he squeezes his hand again. Algric will get tired of this. Tired of him. He probably was happier before Jonah showed up. ]
