[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

[But then he comes down a bit and realizes Tim hasn't... yelled at him this whole time. He logically, consciously knew he wasn't as the conversation went on, but it's just settling in now. This is the longest conversation he's had with Tim since just after Prentiss and it's.. nice.]

[One thing being alone in the apocalypse has done is it's made Jonah have to reflect on a lot of his own past actions. And how fucked up he was abandoning Tim in the aftermath.

[There's so much that he wants to know that even the QUESTIONS make him tired, to say nothing of what the answers are going to do. It still feels like having run a marathon but watching an avalanche eat the finish line and decide what to do about it.

It's so absurd and abrupt in tone shift, that he laughs. He can't help it. And, well, he can multitask, some green on the edges of his closed eyelids while he goes through and answers all the questions for him.]
