[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

[He fiddles with Algric's hand in both of his, massaging the fingers.]

I don't blame you. I... Might've done the same if it had been me.

[ He leans into that. ]

R-right. Exactly. I needed to make sure you were certain.

[His eyes shoot back up to Algric's at that, then back down to his hand.]

I-i meant.. more, um. That I wouldn't be taken back. Away.

Oh! O-oh, that - yes, that was a concern too.

[eyediot]

[He moves from the fingers to massaging Algric's palm.]

E-either way, you're. Quite stuck with me.

Good. I - I can't lose you, Jon.

[eyediot]

You won't.

[Just a lil kiss to Algric's palm.]

I've no intention of disappearing on you.

[ He reddens at that. ]

I-I - I know, but we're still in a horrible world. Things happen.

Forces that be will have a fight on their hands then.

[He's settled right there, on Algric's lap with his hand to his own cheek. He wants to do... Anything for him.]

[ Oh. There's just enough of a compulsion there, isn't there? The words aren't dragged out of him, but they do tumble out much more easily than usual. ]

I - I want us to take off most of our clothes and get under the covers together. And then I want to hold you, Jon.

[ IMMEDIATELY bright red after he says that. ]

[Oh. He smiles gently at that, leaning up for another kiss.]

That can be arranged.

[Only a second to get his own shirt off, excuse him.]

[ God, Jon. His cheeks are still burning. ]

Th-that's cheating, you know.

[eyediot]

Mm, disagree.

[It gets tossed to the end of the bed and he only gets up to get his lounge pants off.]

I think it was fair.

I can't do it back, so it's entirely unfair.

[ His own pyjama pants come off first, so it's just his boxers there. And ... ah. His shirt. He plucks at the fabric, nervous about removing it. ]

[Sensing that unease Jonah looks over. Then smiled, gently taking his hand.]

You don't have to if you aren't comfortable...

I - I know. But I want to. I just ... it's still a lot. For me.

[eyediot]

[Jonah rubs his hand softly, watching him.]

All right... Just.. You know you have a choice there. Same as me.

[curriculum_fictae]

Right. Right. My choice.

[ He turns so that his back is away from Jon. Then, slowly, he takes off his shirt. ]

[If he's doing that, then Jonah won't make a big deal of it or anything. Just a normal part of who they are like this. As much as it still terrified him to be down to Just his briefs with all his scars open.]

It's a shirt, you can always put it back on when you need to.

That's good too. I can just - whenever I'm not comfortable any more.

[ Slowly, slowly, he settles back down into bed next to Jonah. ]

Whatever you need.

[He's trying to be reassuring, arms open for him to cuddle into.]

[curriculum_fictae]

[ Which he does slowly, letting Jonah put his arms around him. He's ... tense, still, hyperaware of the web of scars under Jonah's fingers. ]

[Jonah's careful with those fingers, only stroking up the scarred skin on Algric's back once before settling around his neck to hold him close. Just a small touch to let him know that Jonah knows they're there but he'll leave them alone.]

[ Algric shivers a bit, relaxing as Jon's hands settle on his neck. ]

I - I do want this. I ... liked your hands on my back, even. It's just - just relearning that being touched back there can be good.

I-i'm sure. I just.. don't want to overwhelm or, or make things worse. Is all.
