[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Jonah moves, both hands on either side of Algric, to get himself level with him and kiss him properly.]

[ Algric returns the kiss gladly, even sitting up a little to meet him. ]

[Jonah kisses him one more time before. Well, turning the telly off, for starters. He isn't one to just leave that on for no express reason. Favoring instead to just settle in to the space next to his partner.]

[ Algric turns, lightly, with his back still out of Jonah's view. But ... he curls in close around Jon, his bare chest warm despite the Lonely.

[It is nice. Though, he wasn't really lying when Jonah said he'd be up for a while. He moves so Algric can still keep an arm around his waist, but he's sitting up with his back to him.

He'd promised he wouldn't pry and peek in at Algric or Tim or the younger pair. But he didn't promise he wouldn't peek at everyone else. There's just the faint green on his side of the room as he listens, the neighbors not entirely sure what's going on at the Stoker house, there's more people than they can remember there being before. Further down, some of the people he'd gotten statements from but not Jon (not yet, maybe not ever now). He can't see into the Institute, not completely, but he can see the edges of it. He knows something is happening. HE's worried and suspicious of Elias and whatever he's planning as a countermeasure. As much as Algric's Lonely cloaks him, there have been enough times Jonah's been out alone without him that Elias definitely knows Jonah's here, and what he is. So Elias has to know something is coming and is making plans. That'd be the smart thing. He just can't see what any of it is shaping to be.

Jonah has no idea how many hours pass. He rubs at his eyes as he closes that off. Looks at Algric sleeping over his shoulder. The man sighs and decides maybe now is the best time for a shower. Getting to his feet feels like a chore, but the hot water is sure to spring him up a bit. So straight in he goes, taking a little longer than usual.

Not until drying himself off does he realize he got... a little too comfortable with the arrangement and left his change of clothes by his bag. Ah well, poking his head out the door, Algric's still asleep. No harm just grabbing his things straight out.]

[ Algric was still asleep, but Jonah getting up and the sound of the shower has nudged him gently into wakefulness. (He slept deeply and dreamlessly; his temperature stayed oddly warm all night as well. Perhaps because he'd chosen to trust Jonah instead of disappearing.) He's well rested when he blinks open one eye, seeing movement and ...

Um. Wait. Is that -

He holds so still that Jonah might think he's still asleep. But. He's wide awake now, unable to resist peeking at his naked boyfriend. ]

[Oh for--

Does he really not have any clean briefs? Fine, it's officially laundry day for himself then. He sighs, looks at Tim's dresser and decides if Tim kills him for this, then that's probably the best. HE gets up to dig for a pair of boxers to borrow, giving a. Fairly full view.]

[ Oh yes. That is an extremely full view, isn't it. Algric blushes into the pillow rather profusely. But he doesn't quite look away either.

What he does do is clear his throat gently. ]

[He at least managed to get the boxers on before Algric makes him jump six feet.]

[Turned this way, there's a. A weird line on Jonah's abdomen, right about where his ribcage would end. At a first glance, it's probably just where skin folds and leaves an impression for a few minutes.]

But first he blushes. Sssslowly sitting up, his back still turned away from Jonah. ]

Sorry, ah. I heard the shower going and woke up.

[Jonah looks at the floor a minute, then at Algric. Then just... sort of flops and sits heavily next to him on the edge of the bed.]

No, it's. It's only fair. I walk into your changing room by accident, see your back. I walk out here nude and you catch a look. Fair's fair.

[Look he's even smiling a little. Really both times were his own fault. He can at least cop to that.]

[ Oh good. Algric relaxes then, glad he isn't being called out as a hypocrite or something. ]
