[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

[ Oh yes. Algric can hear that. He smiles softly, settling in closer. ]

It's so good to have him alive again.

...It really is. [Jonah easily makes room for Algric scooting in closer, letting legs tangle together so it's easier. Of course, he knows Tim will have to figure out his own food at some point. The Desolation... isn't pretty about it. He may have to make some calls he doesn't want to.]

All right. I'm - I'm holding you to that.

And I suppose you're also just holding me.

[It's a silly joke, but it's easy to settle into him like this. And it's good. Sure, it's two, maybe three in the morning now that they're finally winding down for the night for good. But for all that he felt ashamed of doing that to Algric's ex, it was... refreshing. Knowing that Algric wouldn't judge him for doing those sorts of things too badly. Having these tough conversations and working it out.

He dreams, of course. It's the first truly real sleep Jonah's had since he got here weeks ago. So many of the doors of dreams he had open before are closed now. A different timeline, cut off from statements that he, personally, didn't receive here.

Morning comes and goes, Tim comes in to get some clothes and takes stock of them before leaving. About mid-morning Jonah shifts, having turned so his back was to Algric in his sleep and little spooned the whole night. One leg stretches and it's sore - like the initial feelings of a charlie horse. But the sharper pain gets him awake proper.

Crap. He can't. Get up to stretch it without waking Algric...]

[ Algric sleeps deeply as well. His own nightmares stay distant tonight; Jonah's presence is a balm on that front, keeping the Eye from devouring his dreams. Or maybe it's the Lonely? He did just feed himself, after all ...

Whatever the cause, he curls in close to Jon, utterly reposed. Head tucked down against him, breathing quietly ... at least until Jon calls his name. Then he stirs muzzily, blinking at Jon through the soft curtain of copper curls. ]

[Jonah hates waking him up. Really, if his leg didn't hurt so much he'd tell him nevermind and go right back to sleep.]

Sorry, I- I need to... Move. G-get up and stretch a few minutes.

[ That gets him to wake up. He jolts a bit, loosening his grip. ]

O-oh, sure. Sorry. I suppose it is morning, then ...

No, it's nothing to apologize for. I'll come back to bed, just. Need a minute.

[Being released, Jonah starts shifting, moving one leg to get under him so he can move but the other he... doesn't move much at all. At least not until he's at the edge of the bed and he carefully moves it over to touch feet to the floor with an exhale. It's been a while since it's seized up like this. Another breath and he pushes himself up to stand, stretching a bit more and starts taking careful steps around the bed and back, just. Methodical and paced.]

[ Algric sits up, watching Jonah with growing concern. Is he ... hurt? He hadn't thought it possible. ]

I - yes. No dreams. I seem to have fewer of them when we sleep in the same bed like that.

[If he is, he sure isn't acting like it. But every few steps, his face pinches before he schools it back.]

Really. That's-- That's great, so. So what I'm hearing is sleep like this every night, then.

W-well - yes, if you don't mind, but - Jon, what's wrong with your leg?

[He glances over, seen, being seen for this weakness, and sighs as he reaches down to rub at the spot.]

It's... Fine. Just. Old injury from before the Unknowing.
