[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

...All right. [He leans down for one more soft kiss before getting up to. Do just that. It's not the worst statement, but it's not a simple one either. But by the end, he feels refreshed and like he can sleep a bit easier. When he's finished, he climbs back into bed satisfied.]

[ Ah. That. Was unpleasant. Algric just sort of sits, dimly horrified?

[He sees Algric's expression and... Well. He feels a bit sheepish about it. At least the red in his own eyes subsided a bit as he climbs under the blankets.]

[Yeah, he's just gonna have his statements in the bathroom or something when everyone's asleep from now on.]

[Jonah watches him as something shifts in his eyes. Recognition, then fear. His heart rate is spiking laying there next to him.]

...You really think he'd have a second one stashed in all this.

I - I think it's possible. And that me sitting in the room with you is such a small thing against the world possibly ending.

[eyediot]

[That has Jonah up and moving again, back to the small pile of statements he'd had with him and. Clears his throat before moving back to Algric.]

You could look over them? Just- You read the, the one before. You'd know what to look for.

... Are you sure that will be enough?

It's... I think so? A bit like checking someone's food for allergies.

[There's the hint of a nervous laugh there, trying to make light of something that very truly scares him.]

[ Algric brightens a little, though not much. ]

Thank you. [He sounds so relieved and grateful. He hadn't even considered letting one of them look the statements over first. Was just... not even thinking.]

Plus side, if it's clean, that means you don't have to be with me either. Sooo... win-win?
