[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

[ Why can't he indeed. Algric presses a soft kiss to his forehead. ]

[Jonah closes his eyes at that, not trying to keep up the appearance now. There's a feeling of safety here, Algric this close like this. But it's clear he's starting to drift.]

We will. I-i'll find someone to. Do an etching.

Of course. After everything is settled.

Yes. After it's settled. And we're all safe.

[One hand is almost out from under the blankets, trying to reach to Algric but. He doesn't last any longer under all the warmth lulling him down.]

[ That's fine. Sleep, Jon, please. Algric will just keep petting his hair, watching him drift off. Lingering for a long while. ]

[He does drift, hand falling loosely in the space between them. After a few minutes, it's clear he's fallen pretty deeply to sleep, sometimes just his fingers twitching in a dream.]

[ Only then does Algric finally get up, watching carefully to see if Jonah reacts. He doesn't want to leave the man alone ... but he needs a moment. To think. To plan. And cry a little. ]

[He is unmoving. Sleeping (not quite so) soundly and curling up under the blankets.

There is, however, someone coming up the stairs, hands wringing a bit and stopping just at their door. A little bit of green light, but nothing obtrusive. Huh.]

Algric goes to the door, opening it lightly. ]

[Caught with his hand in the cookie jar. He looks properly embarrassed to have been caught but really he was just walking by and-]

Sorry. I was just- Y-you're back?

Y. Yes. We're - we're back.

[ He debates the wisdom of stepping outside vs. leaving Jonah alone ... and decides to swing the door open further. ]

We. Ran into Peter Lukas.

[eyediot]

[With the door open wider, Jon can see his future self sleeping behind Algric, and in turn keeps his voice down. But that has his nerves on end, hearing it.]

Peter-- Are you all right?

I'm - I'm fine. Jonah saved me. I ... I nearly forgot everything in there.

[eyediot]

I'm... glad. Th-that you're fine, and he saved you.

['In there'. More than just a run in, were they taken? To that... beach, the place he saw a miniature version of in Martin's flat that one night?]

[ Algric's eyes slide away to the bed, his voice cracking a little. ]

Jonah's - Jonah's hurt. Badly. I - I don't know what to do. E-except maybe to go and murder Lukas.

[ Algric nods slowly. ]

Yes. It - it was the beach at first, but then it changed. I was in a huge house, and ... and I couldn't even remember my own name.

...And Jonah saved you.

[Still being outclassed, even in the worst circumstances. He shouldn't care about this, but he can't help it.]

I'm relieved he found you.

[ He looks back at Jonah's still form in the bed. ]

He's blind again. Gave up - gave up nearly everything to bring me back.

[His eyes follow Algric's, seeing Jonah deep asleep and twitching here and there. Some restless dream probably.]
