that one time travel psl
sad bad end s5 jon and tim on a monster road trip
[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.
After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.
But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]
Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

[ It's not different at all, is it. ]

[Open mouth, win broken-mood-prizes.]
We both have to eat and... And if nothing else? Be each other's emergency rations.
no subject
[ But he goes back to massaging, gently, and there's no argument. ]
no subject
He does start humming quietly to himself though. Eyes closed and. Honestly if he actually sang it wouldn't be half bad.]
no subject
You have a lovely voice.
no subject
Oh, it's --
[Well. Algric and Martin did fall asleep to listening to him in the Archives way back when. Yeah, it's The Voice.mp3.]
Never really thought about it?
no subject
Just your voice, eh? I'd always wondered what you'd sound like if you sang.

[The knot though, Jonah tenses, fists gripping in the sheet for a moment before it eases as he gets used to the sudden tension.]
I think, um. There are some oils in the- The en suite. Cabinet, there.
[That might help ease that a little easier.]
no subject
[ But he flusters a bit at the mention of oils. Right. Of course he'd Know, um. He gets up for a moment, then, to go and fetch them. ]
Do you have a favourite scent?
no subject
[Things he never had to think about before: this. Hopefully Tim doesn't kill them for rifling through his things.]
no subject
[ He returns with the small bottle in hand and applies a few drops to his hands. ]
no subject
Before you start again, come here?
[He gets himself sitting up properly, briefs and all just. Smiling at Algric.]
no subject
[ He's not sure what's going on here? But he sits down next to Jonah for a moment. ]
no subject
Thank you.
no subject
You won't even let me kiss you back?
[ That's fine. He'll just lean down and kiss your back. ]
no subject
Look, I.. know I can't give you... everything. And it's all messed up right now, but. I'm. I'm glad. And unbelievably lucky you're here. With me.
no subject
So am I, Jon. I - I thought I'd never see you again.
no subject
[He won't say the name. But he reaches one hand up to touch at Algric's arm.]
no subject
I'm - I'm sorry. I was in too deep and ... I thought I could handle it.
no subject
You did handle it though. You- you did. I just... I needed you too. I was... worried, and scared for you. And trusted that you knew what you were doing and you'd send a message if you needed my help.
no subject
Then - then I guess you trusted poorly. Because I did such an awful job that you ended the world afterwards.
no subject
Anyway, look let's-- [Huff. HUFF he didn't mean to get on this specifically depressing topic.]
What I was-- Was getting at is. Now that I've met Fisher? And spoke to him? You absolutely deserve infinitely better than him.
no subject
He - he really was an arse. But ... he's right. I was pathetic and desperate.
no subject
[Jonah just... rests his head back on the pillow with a heavy breath.]
You were lonely... That's all.
