[Algric had given the trio a fair warning of what was happening. Not the specific details of what he was coming from, but he was from a little further along Algric's timeline, and came through Hilltop Road. Never pleasant, but he's here now. IT took a few days of settling, readjusting, and putting some firm self-imposed boundaries on himself before Jon felt comfortable enough to see the others.

After a few minutes of surprise and staring, Jon ends up sitting alone with Tim for a few minutes; the others having some things to take care of themselves. He sits there, fiddling a bit with his fingers, trying not to be self conscious. He can't do anything about the myriad of different, newer scars, nor about his black sclera or so many other things about himself now.

But god... Tim. Alive and not shouting at him right this second. How novel.]

Tim... I.. [Where does he even start.]

[ Algric warms slowly in turn as well, the colour creeping back into him. ]

See? There we go. The - the only Lonely that will touch you here will be me.

Yeah?

[The Lonely is always going to be with him in some way, and it hits worse in the middle of the night when he can't sleep and everyone is dreaming.]

[ It's true. Even Algric is unreachable in those moment, especially when he's trapped in a nightmare of his own. ]

[He pulls away just enough to look Algric in the eyes again, stroking his cheek.]

I promise if you do disappear for any reason, I'll find you again.

[ He manages a quiet laugh. ]

[His cheeks are wet with his own tears but he smiles a little more hearing that laugh.]

[From his tone, though, it sounds like he enjoys it.]

[ Okay that startles a real laugh out of him. ]

[Oh but he looks so lovestruck up at him.]

[ Algric beams down at him gently, just. Melting a bit at that expression. ]

I - yeah. Good to laugh in the first place.

[Yeah, he's coming down, wiping at his face with his sleeve.]

[ Algric reaches out to wipe away a few tears as well. ]

[It's easy to trail off with that touch, though. Jonah closes his eyes, leaning into his hand a bit, like a tired, fed cat.]

[ Algric is similarly full here, and cuddling Jonah like this is ... ]

[He hums, turns his face to kiss his palm before moving.]

A short nap, maybe.

[ O-oh. That's. He has to swallow rather thickly at that. Careful, Jonah, or he won't be sleepy any more. ]

Y-yes, ah. That sounds perfect.

[sorry, Algric, he doesn't know what affect he has sometimes.

He does laugh a little to himself though. ]

We haven't even been awake that long you know? I think Americans call it something like a food coma?

Y-yes, that. That does seem apt. I'm full and, ah. Well, I probably shouldn't be this happy, but I am? So. Sleepy.

Nothing wrong with being happy about a full stomach.

[if, you know, that full stomach isn't contingent on others' suffering. But you do what you can.

He nudges Algric in the bedroom first with a gentle tease. ]

Back into bed you go.

[ Look. Look. He carefully settles himself back down, holding a hand out to Jon. ]

What about you?

I'll be there.

[He's just gonna get out of capital "c" Clothes first. It just bothers him since Tim's boxers are just shy of too big. He'll take Algric's hand and climb in after him though, settle in.]

Thank you. For... For wanting that memory.

[ Algric keeps his own clothing on for now; he's unsure of how cold his own skin is and wants the jumper to keep them both warm. ]

Of ... of course, Jon. I - I don't know if I can bear any of the others, but. That one? Yes.

I wouldn't ask it of you. They are... Far worse.

[Algric heard the Stranger.. That's as far as he'll ask. He scoots in close to Algric and tugs the duvet up. ]

[ Yeah. He doesn't want to. He might force himself to take on one at a time, but ...

For now, he's just going to cuddle Jonah. ]
